Mastery

To me, one of the things that NLP Master Practitioner Training, and NLP Trainers Training is about is mastery.  Mastery of yourself in all situations, and mastery of your understanding and application of your NLP skills.  That understanding applies to any area or endeavour in which you are applying NLP.

Some people become Master Practitioners with the intention of working one on one with people as therapists or coaches, while others do so knowing that they will be better doctors or librarians or farmers or business people.  Some people become NLP Trainers so that they can start to train others as Practitioners of NLP, while others do so knowing that they will be better at communicating in general, and at giving any kind of presentation  - as educators, business people, health professionals and so on.

So, what is Mastery?  Here are some quotes that might help you reach your definition.

If people knew how hard I worked to get my mastery, it wouldn't seem so wonderful at all.
Michelangelo

Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.
Mark Twain

Only one who devotes himself to a cause with his whole strength and soul can be a true master. For this reason mastery demands all of a person.
Albert Einstein

Order and simplification are the first steps toward the mastery of a subject.
Thomas Mann

We all have an idea in mind when we talk of mastery, how do you think of it?

Remember that our NLP Master Practitioner training starts on 20 June, and the early bird rate is still available until 20 May.  And Trainers Training starts on 1 February 2016.  What will you do for your own personal mastery?
