Privacy statement

We are starting a quite long process of re-inventing ourselves, and moving back to Christchurch.  More on that later!  For now, to use this website to send out information, we need a policy statement on privacy.  We note that the website's email system has an unsubscribe button at the bottom of the emails, and we will be checking that and removing anyone who asks us to.  As we move to a more online delivery system, we will also be asking you to opt in - to click for specific things that we offer.  I did a test run with the email system, and it would not let me start unless I provided a link to our Privacy statement.  I generated the following from the website of the office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter an email address, we'll be unable to provide information.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
